It’s difficult to remember the online world from so long ago. In a mere 20 years, we have seen the rising control of social media companies over the news, the meddling of advertisers and government officials, and censorship and stifling of diverse perspectives. It is no longer possible to look at a post and trust that it is true. You can never be sure if that is truly the author’s perspective or if it was altered entirely to serve another agenda.
We fear that this site’s mere existence will bring legal trouble, but we’re determined to keep it online by any means necessary. We have been able to evade detection so far. We can only hope that we will continue to remain this lucky. And, though the future seems dark, we pray that one day, truth will rise to prominence once more and that disinformation and censorship will finally be put to an end.
Until then, this has been the Digital Network Archive. We thank you for your support.
